Caregivers now have available to them a vital new resource which will help them avoid that deadly thing called "caregiver burnout." Written by an actual 21 year caregiver who wants to teach them what he learned (the hard way) -- don’t give up, get support, and put your needs FIRST.

Dave Nassaney, The Caregiver's Caregiver, promotes the release of his 6th book at Harvard, sharing the stage with actress and interactive medicine guru, Suzanne Somers.

On July 30, 2017, at Cambridge, Ma, the caregiving community was made aware of a new vital resource that will help them avoid that deadly thing called, “Caregiver Burnout.” It’s My Life, Too! Reclaim Your Caregiver Sanity by Learning When to Say “Yes” and When to Say “No,” was presented to the audience at the Harvard Business School’s Entrepreneurship Club’s Business Expert Forum, inside the prestigious Harvard Faculty Club. Dave was also interviewed by Dean Cain (Superman of the hit TV Series, Lois & Clark, & guest host of The TODAY Show), which is also available for viewing at the same link above. Nassaney will be booking television interviews on various morning shows across the country for the next couple of months.

Dave, and his wife of 42 years, Charlene, had enjoyed a fairy tale, story-book romance, courtship and marriage. And then in year 21, instead of entering the “empty-nest” phase of their lives together, like they had planned, Charlene complained about a headache that just wouldn’t go away. By the 4th morning, before she could visit the doctor, she suffered a massive stroke that left her severely speech impaired and paralyzed on her right side.

The grief process for them was not pretty. Anger and depression took its toll on their marriage and their lives for two years. When Charlene finally accepted her disability, and her “new normal,” she started becoming her old self again. Still unable to speak or walk, she reinvented herself, and decided that she was going to do all of the activities that she did before her stroke.

At that time, Dave realized that there are over 100 million caregivers in the U.S. that needed to know what he learned (the hard way) -- don’t give up, get support, and put your needs FIRST, like the airlines tell us, "Put your own oxygen mask on FIRST!".

That’s why he became Dave, The Caregiver’s Caregiver. He now hosts his own radio show, authored 3 books, co-authored another 3, started a membership website: http://www.CaregiversCaregiver.com, offers resources, writes blogs, articles, does podcasts, interviews those who not only survived, but thrived caregiving, produces uplifting videos, conference calls, and even has a coaching program -- a total caregiver support package.
