Precertification Courses Now Offered at iaedp™ Symposium
(PRWEB) August 29, 2017 -- The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp™), the leading provider of education and training standards to healthcare treatment providers and helping professionals, announces the offering of precertification courses for professionals at its annual Symposium. The precertification courses are traditionally provided through a self-paced online format.
For experienced eating disorders professionals who qualify, the iaedp™ certification training program is a pathway to the certification process. The program also offers professionals new to the field or who do not specialize in eating disorders an opportunity for the most comprehensive training with a current overview of eating disorder diseases and eating disorder treatment approaches.
The precertification courses offered at the annual iaedp Symposium are delivered in a two-day, 12-hour track. Each class is taught by renowned eating disorder professionals nationally known in the field for their treatment expertise along with a co-presenter from the iaedp™ certification committee.
“This is a true opportunity for professionals seeking certification. A professional's time is valuable, which is why we developed this two-day live format at our annual symposium,” said Bonnie Harken, Managing Director at the iaedp Foundation. “It can be difficult for many professionals to find time for certification training – and by offering the courses prior to the annual Symposium, they’re able to accomplish as much as possible in a relatively short amount of time and with the bonus of seasoned experts in the field.”
The 2018 iaedp™ Symposium is slated for March 22 – 25 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. For more information about iaedp™, visit http://www.iaedp.com.
