ScoreStream and Canadafootballchat.com (CFC) team up for real time scores
Del Mar, CA and Toronto (PRWEB) August 29, 2017 -- ScoreStream, the first and leading crowdsourcing platform for live local sports, and Canadafootballchat.com (CFC), the #1 site covering amateur football news and recruiting in Canada, today announced a partnership to use ScoreStream’s crowd-sourcing platform to report real time football scores throughout Canada this high school football season.
“We started getting organic interest from users in Canada and in terms of partners covering football, CFC is THE dominant player in coverage of the sport.” said Derrick Oien, CEO of ScoreStream. "We couldn’t have a better partner as we work to bring real time score coverage to fans in Canada.”
The partnership will kick off this fall with the high school football season. Fans can track real time scores on the CFCs website via scoreboard widgets. Scoreboards for the CFC50 and CFC10 high school rankings, and all the provinces will be available. Schools and fans can submit scores via the ScoreStream smartphone application and those scores will automatically update the scoreboards on the CFC site.
“ScoreStream has demonstrated speed and reliability covering over 10,000 high school games each week in the United States and has done so through ground breaking partnerships with organizations like the Associated Press,” said Lee Barette, CEO of Canadafootballchat.com. "We think that adding real time scores nationwide will be a great feature for fans of our unparalleled coverage of football across Canada."
