Kintone Receives Great Workplace Certification from Independent Analysts at Great Places to Work
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) August 29, 2017 -- Kintone, which provides a low-code application development platform and toolkit that quickly connects, organizes, and visualizes information and workflows, announced today that it has been certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®. Kintone earned this honor based on positive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys. According to the Great Workplaces study, 89 percent of Kintone employees surveyed said it is a great workplace. Kintone also received high marks on the following:
- 94 percent said Kintone provides a great work atmosphere
- 92 percent said the company provides great rewards
- 91 percent said they have great bosses
The certification validates Kintone’s mission to create an inclusive and supportive workplace environment that encourages employees to be more innovative, creative, efficient and work better as a team.
For the fourth year in a row, Great Places to Work certified Kintone’s parent company Cybozu as being one of the best workplaces in Japan for mid-size companies, in addition to receiving first-time recognition as the best place for women to work. Cybozu is also forward-thinking when it comes to parental leave policies. The company’s co-founder and CEO Yoshihisa Aono was one of the first male executives at a Japanese public company that took parental leave, generating headlines across Japan and affirming Cybozu’s commitment to employee policies that promote work-life balance.
"We applaud Kintone for seeking certification and releasing its employees' feedback," said Kim Peters, Executive Vice President of Great Place to Work's Certification Program. "These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees' trust and create a great workplace - critical metrics that anyone considering working for or doing business with Kintone should take into account as an indicator of high performance."
Kintone’s corporate values and focus on team empowerment are in line with the Kintone low-code application development platform which allows teams to quickly build the applications they need with no coding expertise. The Kintone digital workspace quickly connects and visualizes information so teams are more in sync, workflows are more fluid and the business is more efficient overall.
Women comprise 66 percent of the Kintone workforce, a source of pride for the company and its CEO, Dave Landa.
“As large companies right here in the Silicon Valley struggle with issues such as diversity and equality in the workplace, Kintone is way ahead of the game,” said Landa. “We believe our greatest assets are our employees. By investing in their success we also invest in Kintone’s success. We’ll continue to cultivate a highly diverse workforce that’s driven to innovate and create, while working as a cohesive team that puts customer satisfaction first.”
Company benefits and perks include:
- Financial support for professional development courses
- Flexible work styles, including remote work
- Public transit cost benefits
- Generous parental leave policies
Kintone also supports the San Francisco community by volunteering two to three times a year at a local non-profit.
