SAE International to Host On-Road Automated Driving Meetup Group Sept. 6 in San Jose
WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) August 31, 2017 -- SAE International will host a Meetup Group to discuss On-Road Automated Driving (ORAD) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Prospect Silicon Valley in San Jose, Calif.
Key speaker will be Dr. Adrian Zlocki from the University of Aachen.
Dr. Zlocki studied automotive engineering at the RWTH-Aachen University (Technical University Aachen). During his studies he stayed abroad for one research semester at the POSTECH University in Pohang, South-Korea. Since 2004 he has been employed as a Scientific Engineer at the ADAS department of the “Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge der RWTH Aachen University” (ika), the Institute for Automotive Engineering. Between 2007 and 2010 he led a research group in the field of ADAS development and assessment at ika. In 2010, Dr. Zlocki received his PhD in Automotive Engineering and became head of the ADAS department at ika. He is currently head of ika's and fka’s ADAS department working on ADAS and automated driving.
