Power Muse Productions Celebrates Five Years of Greek Entertainment With Iconic Performances by Marinella and Antonis Remos Live at The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles

In conjunction with celebrating five years of bringing Greek Entertainment to the west coast, Power Muse Productions presents iconic performances by Marinella and Antonis Remos at the historical Orpheum Theatre located in Downtown Los Angeles. The night will open with “The Funny Greek”, Angelo Tsarouchas to kick off the night with a stand-up comedy routine that is sure to bring down the house.
Celebrating sixty years in the entertainment business, Marinella returns to Los Angeles with her unique style and dynamic voice after a thirty-year absence to date with her last appearance in LA being on October 7, 1987 and her return is highly anticipated. Accompanying Marinella is Greece’s top Laïko vocalist, Antonis Remos. Marinella and Remos will be highlighting their most popular songs individually as well as uniting their voices together with songs that are set to mystify the audience.

Since the commence of Marinella’s professional career in 1957 she has remained one of Greece’s most beloved singers for a span of six decades. Throughout her career, she has released sixty-six solo albums and has been featured along with other musicians on multiple albums. In the early years, Marinella collaborated with singer Stelios Kazantzidis, who was known has her muse. Together they became known as Greece’s most dynamic duo. Though Marinella’s music is often referred to as folk, her range is broad and includes a variety of musical styles including traditional, laïko, pop, blues, and jazz. With the 1996 release of his self-titled debut album, Antonis Remos hit stardom as one of Greece’s most popular recording artists of his generation. Remos has had sixteen solo album releases hitting platinum and multi-platinum status. His unique style and talents landed him a role as a coach in Greece’s highly viewed television series The Voice. Remos has toured throughout Europe, North America and Australia and collaborated with highly recognized artist such as, Julio Iglesias, Gloria Gaynor, Gipsy Kings, Dany Brilliant and Eros Ramazzotti.
