RevSpring Provides Relief to Businesses Impacted by Hurricane Harvey
Wixom, MI (PRWEB) September 08, 2017 -- Hurricane Harvey, a catastrophic category 4 hurricane, hit Texas last week. With almost 52 inches of rain fall in just under five days, the devastation is far-reaching. Over one million people had to evacuate their homes; over 185,000 homes were destroyed; 42,000 plus people were in shelters. Many lost everything.
“In times of great suffering, our first instinct is how can we help,” said Marty Callahan, President of Healthcare Markets at RevSpring. “Watching the footage on TV and the impact of Harvey made our hearts hurt, just like everyone else. So when our client reached out to us for help, our team leapt at the chance.”
CHRISTUS Health, headquartered in Dallas, Texas serves the communities most affected by the storms and flood in south and southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. Many CHRISTUS Associates and their families live and work within the communities and lost everything. RevSpring has partnered with CHRISTUS since 2009, managing their statement and payment portals. Knowing that their employees would continue to serve their community in a time of great need, CHRISTUS asked RevSpring to quickly create a branded donation site to accept payments that will be used for charitable purposes, as well as modify their existing payment portals with a donation button.

We are so thankful to RevSpring and everyone who stepped up in this dire time.”
Numerous RevSpring clients were impacted by this historic hurricane. Our team members reached out to assist others by collecting needed items and donations to those affected by the storm. In addition to the donation portal, RevSpring also offered free broadcast messaging for customers within the impacted area. As Hurricane Irma now threatens the East Coast, RevSpring and our employees remain committed to assisting our clients and their communities through repurposing our adaptable payment portal and communications technologies in their time of need.
