NFCC® Announces Jeff Faulkner as Acting President and CEO
Washington, DC (PRWEB) September 12, 2017 -- Jeff Faulkner, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling® (NFCC®), will be named acting president and CEO of the organization on November 1, 2017. This transition will follow the departure of Susan C. Keating on October 31st, who has successfully led the organization as NFCC’s president and CEO for 13 years and has taken a new role as CEO of Women Corporate Directors Foundation (WCD). Under her leadership, Keating developed important national partnerships that supported NFCC members’ ability to improve the financial well-being of 26 million people through a variety of programs promoting financial wellness and stability.
Since joining the NFCC in 2015, Faulkner has strengthened the organization's relationships with its financial institution partners and has driven strategic initiatives that will shape the future of financial counseling and education delivery.
“Jeff’s leadership and mission focus have been a driving force behind the innovative changes underway at the NFCC,” said the Honorable Nelson A. Diaz, chairman of the NFCC board of trustees. “I am confident that the organization is in good hands during this time of transition.”
Prior to his current role, Jeff served the NFCC as a member of their Advisory Council for 10 years. Jeff has over 34 years of professional experience, most notably in scaling nonprofit financial and community development services. His prior work includes serving as a partner at Executive Partners, Inc. a management consulting firm providing operational optimization activities with guidance to corporate, government and nonprofit entities. Faulkner previously worked as president of Ways to Work, a federally-certified Community Development Financial Institution with a national field of service and a unique focus on family strengthening consumer lending activities.
