Cintra, a multi-award-winning Oracle Platinum Partner and enterprise architects today announces its global partnership with Equinix, a global interconnection and data center company.

Cintra and Equinix - a global collaboration

With Cintra’s long-standing partnership and commitment to Oracle deployments, together with Equinix’s global cloud interconnection services, enterprises will benefit from this collaboration with security-focussed, high-performance access to Oracle Cloud on a global scale.

The collaboration will enable customers to draw on Cintra’s architecture expertise to create the right business technology foundations for their Oracle-based systems using the global Equinix interconnection platform.

Rapid and low-risk journey to the cloud
Using the Equinix Cloud Exchange™, Equinix’s cloud interconnection service that enables direct access to multiple cloud providers, and its integration with Oracle Network Cloud Service – FastConnect, enterprise customers can directly connect their private IT infrastructure to the Oracle Cloud.

This private connection enables organizations to quickly and seamlessly deliver the high performance levels required by modern enterprises and users, by minimizing latency between their own infrastructure, the cloud and the thousands of other businesses using the same data centers. The private connection also minimizes security risk by bypassing the public internet.

Through this collaboration, customers will benefit from Cintra’s holistic RapidCloud design and migration approach to transition to the most appropriate blend of public and private cloud within the Equinix ecosystem and link this back to any on-premises infrastructure.

RapidCloud is a fast and low-risk technique for cloud transformations that looks at every aspect of the transition, ensuring the new platform will be securely-featured, available, performant and commercially sustainable.

Architecting customer success
Abdul Sheikh, co-founder and CTO at Cintra, said: “As organizations look to move to the cloud, they need to look at the bigger picture if they’re to deliver the performance their customers demand. The Equinix ecosystem provides the ideal building blocks, enabling Cintra to architect technology platforms that combine public cloud with their own infrastructure in close proximity, for optimal user experiences.”

Will Dexter, UK Sales Director at Cintra, said: “As Oracle UK Cloud Infrastructure as a Service Partner of the Year for 2017, Cintra can help any business or independent software vendor (ISV) with Oracle databases and applications, such as E-Business Suite, move these to the cloud in as little as 30 days.”

Greg Adgate, vice president of global channel and alliances at Equinix, added: “With Cintra’s long-standing partnership and commitment to Oracle deployments, together with Equinix’s global cloud interconnection services, enterprises will benefit from this collaboration with security-focussed, high-performance access to Oracle Cloud on a global scale. We look forward to working with Cintra to make this a reality for our mutual customers around the globe.”
