We're using artificial intelligence to enable users to work smarter rather than harder by automatically generating the metadata and relationships that put information in context, allowing it to be intelligently and dynamically organized by customer, project or case.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 09, 2017
M-Files Corporation, the intelligent information management company, today announced the company has been recognized as a "visionary" in Gartner, Inc.’s 2017 Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms1.
According to Gartner’s 2017 Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms, "Content services platforms are the next stage of enterprise content management, representing a shift from self-contained systems and repositories to open services…This core is the basis of an integrated set of content-related services (and microservices), repositories and tools that can be easily extended and adapted. A CSP has the flexibility to support existing and emerging content use cases. It has its own repository but should also be able to integrate external repositories through connectors, APIs or packaged integrations. Today, many CSPs can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud or in hybrid architectures."2
The report also noted continued healthy expansion of the market. According to Gartner, the CSP market experienced "8% growth from 2015 to 2016, with global revenue up to $6.1 billion from $5.6 billion as content-related processes increasingly are digitized."3
“We believe M-Files continues to be recognized for our unique approach and vision that enables users to quickly and easily find and manage documents and other information in different business applications, network file folders and other content repositories without costly and time-consuming migration projects," said Greg Milliken, senior vice president of marketing of M-Files Corporation. “Businesses are being forced to adapt to deal with the rapid and often chaotic proliferation of data and content across multiple, disconnected systems and 'silos.' Usability is king as workers demand easier and more intuitive, consumer-like experiences that truly help them get their job done better and faster. We're using artificial intelligence to enable users to work smarter rather than harder by automatically generating the metadata and relationships that put information in context, allowing it to be intelligently and dynamically organized by customer, project or case. It's a big vision and a unique approach that is changing the way businesses manage information, and we believe being named a visionary by Gartner is further confirmation that we're succeeding."
M-Files is seeing surging interest in its intelligent information management approach, with over 220 percent growth in bookings and a jump in SaaS revenue of over 50 percent in 2016, solidifying its place as one of the fastest-growing ECM/CSP providers. To fuel the company’s global expansion, in 2016 M-Files raised a $36 million Series B round of funding led by Partech Ventures. In addition to continuing to expand operations in the US, UK and Finland, M-Files has opened offices in France, Germany and Australia.
