Vehicle theft is a booming criminal enterprise, and though there are many different types of anti-theft devices for vehicles on the market today (car alarms, steering-wheel locks, brake-pedal locks, wheel locks and ignition immobilizers), none of these methods are fool-proof on their own. "What is needed is a more comprehensive vehicle-security system," said an inventor from Smithtown, N.Y., "So I’ve combined multiple security methods in the VEHICLE SECURITY AND RECOVERY SYSTEM."
This improved and patented system provides a comprehensive security system for a vehicle and allows for reliable monitoring. It protects against theft and vandalism, facilitates recovery if theft is successful, and alerts the owner in the event of a security issue.
The system features an alarm, external and internal cameras, automatic air-release valves in the tires, automatically locking seat belts, a control box, a microprocessor, a transceiver, a power source, a remote control, related transmitters, receivers and sensors, etc. In the event of a theft attempt, the cameras turn on and record automatically, the alarm sounds, the tires’ air is released, and the seat belts lock. Also, the owner is informed of the incident for immediate response and law-enforcement contact.
