New Orleans-based Lee Moving & Storage, Inc., a residential and corporate moving service, has expanded its service area to include Baton Rouge, La. The company has also acquired a new warehouse facility in Baton Rouge to serve the storage needs of Capital City customers.

While the New Orleans company has not yet opened a satellite office in Baton Rouge, its full suite of moving and storage services is now available in both cities. The expansion of services in Baton Rouge includes turnkey corporate and commercial moves, residential relocations of all sizes, and nationwide pack-and-ship options through its partnership with international freight transporter Atlas Van Lines, Inc.

Doug Lee, CEO at Lee Moving & Storage, Inc., said he’s already used to the commute. “Actually, we work in Baton Rouge nearly every week. We’ve been moving clients in the city-parish for quite a while. Having the new warehouse in Baton Rouge means we can now offer local storage to clients in both cities,” Lee continued. “It also gives us a base for staging long-distance moves from Baton Rouge.”
