BeBalanced Helping Feed the Food Insecure of Northeast Indiana
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (PRWEB) November 02, 2017 -- BeBalanced Hormone Weight Loss Centers in Fort Wayne, whose program uses the power of hormones and natural hormone balancing to work with one’s body to correct key hormone imbalances, is hosting a donation drive for Community Harvest Food Bank, a member of Feeding America. Donated items can be dropped off at BeBalanced, 6167 W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804, now through November. Items most needed include canned protein, canned vegetables, peanut butter, dry goods, canned fruits, canned beans, boxed dinners and canned soup.
“There is a huge need here in our community, and we feel it is our duty to help out,” said Amber Quinn, owner of BeBalanced Fort Wayne, whose mother Sandi Gratz, a local Century 21 Realtor, is the BeBalanced co-owner.
The mission of Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana, Inc. is to alleviate hunger through the full use of donated food and other resources and to increase public awareness of and involvement in its mission.This food bank provides food for nine counties in northeast Indiana. There are more than 85,000 food insecure people in Northeast Indiana, and Community Harvest Food Bank distributes approximately 11 million meals annually.
