Same Fare, Same Flair, Same Savoir Faire.... Bryant Park's Latest Culinary Destination Gets a New Name, L’ADRESSE American Bistro
NEW YORK (PRWEB) November 08, 2017 -- While a wise old barb questioned “What’s in a Name?” the team at the formerly named Coffeemania restaurant have decided “Quite a lot, actually….”
The popular Moscow restaurant group, Coffeemania, has enjoyed a 16-year history in the European city and opened its first overseas location in New York City earlier this year. The brand is known for uncompromising and innovative breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menus, mouthwatering pâtisserie and a diverse beverage program that includes artisanal cocktails, fruit and vegetable blends, spritzers and one-of-a-kind coffee drinks. The restaurant group is arguably one of the most popular hospitality brands in all of Russia and is as beloved as some popular neighborhood institutions here in the U.S.
However, for New York City, the name did not convey all that it has to offer guests….
“While we had hoped to carry on the tradition of our original name here in the United States, we soon realized that many people found it misleading and assumed we were just a coffee shop,” states Evgeny Zhuralev, Director of International Business Development. “The guests who have experienced what we are all about quickly realized that we are an upscale social culinary spot for any time of day, but many other potential guests were confused.”
Thus, the Bryant Park newcomer has decided to push the “re-start” button with a new name and the arrival of Executive Chef, Isaac Correa. A New York City native, Chef Correa previously collaborated with the Coffeemania restaurant group in Moscow in 2002 and remained in the European City developing restaurants and cafés under his own brand and influencing the City’s burgeoning restaurant scene. In 2015, he returned to the U.S. to open his own restaurant in Florida and now his career comes full circle with his role in helping L’ADRESSE solidify its position as one of the top culinary spots in New York City.
While many of the popular menu items such as Cauliflower Soup, Truffle Burger, Seared Sea Scallops, and Lobster Uni Carbonara will stay, Chef Correa is adding to the line- up with dishes such as Josper Grilled Octopus, Black Rice Risotto and Naked Pumpkin, a dish inspired by seasonal vegetables. “The idea behind the food is to keep everything as simple as possible. I believe it is always about letting the ingredients shine, allowing the flavors and dishes to be fresh, clean, colorful and fun,” states Correa. Along with Executive Chef Correa, Chef de Cuisine Lee Hernandez will remain in his role in the kitchen and both are committed to creating high-quality, refined dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients from local farmers.
Along with updated breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menus, L’ADRESSE proposes a refreshed wine, beer and spirits menu, as well as new juice blends, smoothie bowls and a sprinkling of new coffee and tea beverages. Additionally, L’ADRESSE will celebrate the season with new holiday offerings, including a Cran-Raspberry Cowberry tea, which is served with or without spiced rum, and delightful festive desserts.
What’s in THIS Name?
The name “L’ADRESSE” was chosen to invoke the restaurant’s concept of being a “meeting point” for friendly gatherings, business meetings and tourists looking for a new elevated dining experience. Located in the heart of midtown, right alongside Bryant Park, L’ADRESSE is ideally suited as a popular meeting-up place for “power breakfasts,” social or business lunches, after-work drinks and dinner, as well as weekend brunches.

Celebrate the holiday with family and friends for a lavish Thanksgiving feast from noon to 8 p.m. Executive Chef Isaac Correa and Chef de Cuisine Lee Hernandez have put together an elegant four-course prix fixe menu with all the traditional holiday favorites (and some with a twist) with multiple options per course. The meal closes with a choice of dessert and optional evening stroll in neighboring Bryant Park.
