"I was trying to study for my Psychology (which had been whipping my rear all semester) exam, and nothing would do what I wanted to help me,” says founder Dominique Cassagne. “Some other students told me about apps that would “help”, but I had to manually enter them in, which was time consuming when studying for four finals. I did however, have recorded lectures, but they wanted to charge me! It was outrageous! Or there are apps that will let you record and then will type your lectures, but nothing else! I wanted that something else. I wanted to have more interactive ways to study. An easier, more effective way to study.”
StudiBuddi is the most efficient way to take notes during lectures. The app will not only take voice recordings of lectures but will also automatically translate the voice to text. The text will then be turned into quizzes/tests, games of crossword puzzles and hangman and much more to make studying fun and interactive. Most importantly, the StudiBuddi App will be completely free for the demographic that needs it most- college students.
The company is currently seeking funding to develop the app. The most difficult aspect of the development will be the voice-to-text system, however, the team has already locked down a talented software team to develop the product.
