Brian D. Kharpan Daly releases collection of short stories.

“The darkening sky was speckled with soft hues of crimson and orange, making the day prolong its lingering and shimmering daylight - a sunset reminiscent of mystical and unpredictable days yet to be unfolded.”

The opening lines from “A QUIRK OF FATE” (published by Partridge India in September of 2015), a collection of short stories by Brian D. Kharpran Daly, are a precursor to his penmanship and examines life, love and the environment, mostly based in rural Meghalaya.

Set for a new marketing campaign and dedicating the book to the late Silverine Swer, Meghalaya's first Padmashree, Daly has incorporated 17 short stories ranging from his own experiences to adding imaginary tales to non-fictional ones.

Daly has also penned a few stories on love in its vibrant and melodic forms, a triumphant testament of the enduring emotion that makes one human.

“A romantic at heart, the author delves with the sensitivity and passion of one who truly understands and accepts that life is love and there can be nothing greater than the feeling of immense joy and bliss that love encompasses,” a note about the book stated.
