itSMF USA 2017 Announces Next Generation Service Management Award Winners
HOUSTON (PRWEB) November 14, 2017 -- itSMF USA and awards sponsors Ivanti, EXIN and AXELOS, announced the 2017 itSMF USA Next Generation Service Management Award Winners at the premier Service Management conference, FUSION 17, on November 1 in Orlando, Florida.
The Service Management in Action Award, sponsored by Ivanti, was awarded to Proctor & Gamble for achieving significant business results from process improvements made through their Incident Reduction Initiative.
The itSMF Contributor of the Year Award, sponsored by EXIN, was awarded to John Clipp. John has over 25 years in IT and Service Management and is a long-time member of itSMF USA. He is a Vice President at TechnoLava and currently serves as the Manager of the itSMF USA Problem Management Community of Interest, the DevOps / Agile Community of Interest and the President of the itSMF USA Nations Capital Local Interest Group.
The itSMF Community Excellence Award, sponsored by AXELOS, was presented to three member communities in recognition of excellence in delivering quality programs to local itSMF USA members and guests. The Minnesota Local Interest Group was awarded the High Performance Community of the Year in recognition of service excellence over the preceding 12 months. The Los Angeles Local Interest Group was awarded the Sustained Performance Community of the Year for consistent commitment and success over the past 5 years. The San Francisco Local Interest Group was named the Upstart Community of the Year as a new community that has shown tangible results in their first year.
Cathy Kirch, President of itSMF USA presented the President’s Award to Kevin Ritter. Kevin has over 35 years of experience in IT and been involved with itSMF USA since 2004. He has led numerous Service Management workshops, spoke at local and national events, written white papers, been President of the Heartland Local Interest Group, and took on other leadership roles, including more recently, as a member of the itSMF USA Board of Directors.
