Swinomish Casino & Lodge to Open Manchu WOK in New Food Court
ANACORTES, Wash. (PRWEB) November 22, 2017 -- As part of an ongoing renovation project at Swinomish Casino & Lodge, the casino is opening a Manchu WOK franchise as one of its new dining options, estimated to open in December of 2018.
Manchu WOK will be one of three new dining options at the soon-to-be-complete food court inside the casino. The property has confirmed the other restaurants, Fatburger and Carver’s Café.
The decision to open Manchu WOK and Fatburger was based on surveys that Swinomish Casino & Lodge sent out to their guests, said Dallas Widmark, the Lodge general manager of Swinomish Casino & Lodge. The top two most-wanted food options were Chinese cuisine and burgers.
“We’re really excited to be offering some of our guests’ favorite foods,” Widmark said. “Once all three of our new dining outlets are open, we’ll have a larger variety of cuisines than ever before.”
“Manchu WOK has a long history in Seattle and the Northwestern Canadian market. Manchu WOK’s fresh steam table offers an assortment of recipes from the Cantonese, Szechwan, Hunan & Mandarin regions in China” said Maggie Mak-Chong, marketing manager of the MTY Group, which oversees Manchu WOK.
Guests who have a Player’s Club card at Swinomish Casino & Lodge will be able to redeem their earned points for special discounts at Manchu WOK, just as with the other dining outlets at the casino.
The Manchu WOK that will open inside the casino marks the fourth location to open in Washington State.
