"I wanted more options when performing weighted dips and pull-ups," said an inventor from Brooklyn, N.Y. "I put my mind to it and developed a better way to secure weight to my body when doing these and other exercises. Now I can get a leg workout in as well."

He created a prototype for the patent-pending AB HARNESS to offer more versatility when performing weighted dips and pull-ups. The device enables the user to achieve a leg workout while performing other movements. It effectively targets muscles in the abdominal region, legs and upper body, which makes for a more efficient workout. The accessory allows exercises to be made more intense and challenging for improved gains. Additionally, it is designed to be comfortable and adjustable.

The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
