Nimble Impressions, a St. Paul based, full-service marketing agency has been nominated for the 2017 BOLD Awards

Nimble Impressions, a St. Paul based, full-service marketing agency has been nominated for the 2017 BOLD Awards. Conceived and presented by ACG Minnesota, the Sixth Annual BOLD Awards honor organizations and individuals that demonstrate innovative and imaginative efforts to positively impact the community and to grow Minnesota.

“It’s a great honor to be nominated for such a prestigious award” said president/CEO Alan Haskins. It is a befitting nomination since the company has acquired a second company within 24 months. Completed in July of 2017, Alan purchased the iconic Agency 128 marketing agency out of St. Cloud Minnesota. As with his first acquisition in 2015 of StepStone Group, the opportunity was born out of authentic networking. The basis of both BOLD moves was GROWTH.

This acquisition creates a single, fully integrated agency, which delivers a complete range of creative, web and marketing products and services.

“As I invest in Nimble Impressions and strive to meet client needs, I saw Agency 128 as a natural fit for expansion, and a way to power our marketing efforts in a big way,” said Alan Haskins. “This acquisition allows us to offer experienced creative marketing services to existing clients through the talented members of the Agency 128 team.”

Nimble Impressions and Agency 128 each have strong reputations between St. Paul and St. Cloud and also service clients nationally. Agency 128 will continue to operate in St. Cloud under the Nimble Impressions company umbrella.

Along with the 2017 acquisition, Nimble has demonstrated other BOLD Award characteristics. In the past 12 months the company launched the Nimble For Good philanthropic arm of the company, which is dedicated to giving a portion of sales to important socially conscious organizations. This program gained national recognition, which has fueled his passion for giving back. Another significant accomplishment has been the work done for a major Minnesota stadium. Originally Nimble supplied 50+ custom products to the stadium used in the concessions. This by itself was exciting, but that accomplishment has been eclipsed by his commitment to support the stadiums Zero-Waste compliance efforts. Most original items have needed to be replaced with fully compostable products. The skilled Nimble team has done part of the heavily lifting often endured by those who are on the front line of strategic initiatives like this.

Nimble is hopeful to be selected as a finalist in the process that occurs in early 2018. Regardless of the outcome, just to be considered for this award is an accomplishment.
