21st Annual Silver State Awards Honors the Best of Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) December 04, 2017 -- The 21st Annual Silver State Awards were held at Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 18th, 2017. The awards were put on by TMG Entertainment and presented by the Nevada State College. The awards recognize the wide spectrum of accomplishments that astounding women have achieved through outstanding leadership, inspiration vision, and innovations that have shaped women’s roles within public and private sectors of Las Vegas.
Galit Ventura–Rozen, the founder of Empowering U, was honored for the Best Local Motivational Speaker/Coach award and was also named by MyVegas Magazine as one of the Top 100 Women of Influence in the May issue of this past year.
“Thank you so much for recognizing me for this prestigious award,” stated Galit. “Being a motivational speaker, it is a blessing to inspire even one person in the audience."
Galit also serves as the president of the Women of Global Change (WGC) Las Vegas Chapter and has served the community in many important aspects. Also, through the Women of Global Change Las Vegas Chapter, she joined forces with Britney Spears in support of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.
A true leader of the community and a motivating participant, Galit will be leading a WGC holiday shopping event on Saturday, December 16th at The Shade Tree shelter for women in Las Vegas. Items will be collected for the children to pick up to give to their mothers for the holidays. The items include jewelry, bath and body products, make up products, scarves, blankets, purses, and more. The main purpose of this event is to brighten the Christmas of those in need.
The Women of Global Change is an award-winning, international network of like-minded servant leaders who engage in global business networking to create things bigger than they ever could alone.
