Conversable Brings Partners to GM to Unlock Car for Commerce
AUSTIN, TX (PRWEB) December 05, 2017 -- Conversable today announced the launch of 3 national brands and merchants into the recently launched Marketplace, the new merchant-to-driver interaction platform, and a powerful new media channel for automotive and mobile commerce. Conversable and General Motors (GM) have partnered to deliver on-demand, commerce capabilities for millions of 4G LTE connected Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. Conversable’s ability to deploy personalized user content makes it possible for brands like TGI Friday’s, Wingstop and Dunkin Donuts to integrate their content into Marketplace.
Marketplace is a commerce platform that gives drivers the opportunity to more safely interact with some of their favorite brands from the comfort of their vehicle. Users can order their favorite coffee on the way to work, choose the route to the closest gas station when low on fuel, and make a dinner reservation on the go, right from the driver’s seat with a tap on the dash.
By leveraging real-time interaction data such as location, time of day, and a driver’s established digital relationship with third-party merchants and combining them with smart machine learning capabilities, Conversable will enable merchants to offer highly personalized experiences through Marketplace.
“As everything around us moves toward messaging and voice conversational interfaces, vehicles are an obvious area of evolution for our omnichannel technology,” said Ben Lamm, CEO of Conversable. “The car as a platform opens exciting new opportunities for conversational intelligence, and offers unique value and experiences to both drivers and the brands they interact with. Brands can reach their customers on the go, and drivers appreciate the convenience and intuitive interactions.”
Gartner predicts that 30% of our interactions with technology will be through messaging and voice conversations with smart machines, as the natural evolutionary step for human-machine interactions. The accuracy of these technologies has increased steadily. Now, with the rise of connected vehicles, users have the opportunity to leverage this technology at home and on-the-go.
For brands, omni-channel conversational intelligence, from the connected car to in-app messaging, allows for an integrated digital strategy that reaches customers wherever they are.
“Conversable has been an integral partner in growing our base of merchants for Marketplace, with a creative approach to technology that merchants and customers alike will benefit from. Our goal is to utilize partnerships like this to build Marketplace into the most intuitive and comprehensive in-vehicle commerce platform,” said Brian Hoglund, Director, Commercial Experience GCCX. “We know customers will appreciate the opportunity to connect and interact with their favorite brands from the car, in a safer and more convenient way.”
