KUBRA Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Investment in Next Generation of Coders
TEMPE, Ariz. (PRWEB) December 12, 2017 -- KUBRA, the leading provider of customer experience management solutions, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a look toward the future. Started in 1992 as a provider of outsourced printing and mailing services, KUBRA has evolved into a comprehensive provider of customer experience management solutions to the utility and government industries.
As a key part of KUBRA’s “Future Forward” anniversary campaign, the company is pledging commitment to future generations by helping bridge the skills gap between today’s employees and the workforce of the future. KUBRA has teamed with Code.org—a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to computer science and increased participation by women and underrepresented minorities—and Ladies Learning Code—a charitable organization dedicated to providing women and youth with the resources to become passionate builders of technology in a hands-on, social and collaborative way.
“KUBRA has an incredible opportunity to be a future-builder,” said President and CEO Rick Watkin. “We create customer experience management solutions that shape the industry, and these leading solutions depend on the strength and innovation of our employees. Maintaining a talented and equipped team throughout the years depends on our investment in the next generation of coders.”
Throughout the year, KUBRA has sponsored 2,500 students to learn code and has used its resources to promote the Code.org and Ladies Learning Code organizations. Additionally, KUBRA employees across the U.S. and Canada have volunteered with both organizations at events and in the classroom. KUBRA officially launched the “Future Forward” anniversary campaign at its annual client conference, iConnect, in March 2017. The year-long campaign has included both employee and client initiatives created to highlight the company’s industry-leading position and the future vision of KUBRA.
KUBRA concluded its 25th anniversary celebration earlier this month when employees filled a time capsule with company memorabilia and technology from 2017, which will remain sealed until the company’s 50th anniversary in 2042. Moving forward, the KUBRA team will continue to be active investors in the community and agents of change in the technology industry.
