Because in good or bad, culture is the trump card that determines your team’s outcome.

The Vanderbloemen Search Group is one of the top entrepreneurial companies in America. That’s according to Entrepreneur, which placed the Houston-based church staffing firm as 52 among its list of 360 top small businesses.

The award comes on the heels of Vanderbloemen Search Group being named to Houstonia’s 2017 Best Places to Work list, and adds to the firm’s lengthy roster of recognitions for culture and performance.

Entrepreneur’s list, called Entrepreneur 360, identifies the 360 small businesses that "excel in expertly balancing impact, innovation, growth and leadership by way of grit, perseverance and passion." The outlet invited companies to apply and evaluated them based on four metrics: impact, innovation, growth, and leadership.

Founder and CEO William Vanderbloemen credits his company’s success to the importance he places on culture. He shares his secrets to accomplishing a positive workplace environment, along with those from other top workplace culture leaders, in his forthcoming book, Culture Wins: The Roadmap to an Irresistible Work Culture, published by Savio Republic, and due out this spring.

“When culture is bad, no matter how talented the team or great the strategy, a team will never reach its potential. Because in good or bad, culture is the trump card that determines your team’s outcome,” shared Vanderbloemen.

Vanderbloemen Search Group’s other awards include two Top 5 Company Culture awards from Entrepreneur and three Best Places to Work awards from the Houston Business Journal. Vanderbloemen Search Group was also recognized this year by Forbes as a top executive recruiting firm.
