“Before the plague, the feudal system was entrenched in Europe, but after half of Europe dies, the Renaissance arrives. However, it took 150 years until Europe’s population recovers.” --MHH3
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, MHH3 ’s new book is the adventures of three children who lived through the Black Plague.
Amid the Black Plague, three children became orphans after their families perished during the onset of the Black Death in 1348. The Brothers of an island monastery agree to raise two boys and girl until they reach the age of twenty-one. At first, the children are consumed by their feelings of grief and loss. They resent God. One special monk becomes their mentor and eventually wins them over to Christianity. God, however, has a different plan for them.
A Vandal raid on the monastery completely changes the direction of life. The two boys embark on a mission to the Northern part of Germany to save souls. They meet a princess and her father then start a major trading company staffed by the monks of their monastery. When the Viking raiders attack the prince’s town, Lubeck, the young men save the day. The two must then travel to Bergen, but become shipwrecked and are forced to walk two hundred miles to Sweden.
