Grand Avenue Club’s “The North Shore’s Grand Rummage Sale,” May 5, 6 and 7, 2017
Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) April 27, 2017 -- Get awesome deals and great quality at Grand Avenue Club’s “Grand Rummage Sale”. It's a community-wide indoor rummage sale open to the public. The Grand Rummage Sale is for the serious deal seekers. Held at the former North Shore Bistro location in River Point Village, Fox Point, the event is a fundraiser for Grand Avenue Club (GAC). GAC offers adults in the Milwaukee Area who experience mental illness opportunities to pursue employment, education, recreational and cultural opportunities. Shoppers will discover that this is the place to find spring deals and designer items. Everything from mink coats to children’s toys, business suits to downhill skis.
"The prices are so low and the selection is really great, and the shoppers will walk away loaded down with terrific bargains,” said Stephanie Petersen, The Grand Rummage Sale Chair. At the popular Bag Sale on Sunday, May 7, shoppers can purchase a grocery bag for $3 or two for $5 and fill it to the brim, stuffing it with all the merchandise they can find.
Treasures abound at this indoor shopper’s paradise, including clothing and accessories for the entire family, furniture, toys and games, electronics, and sporting goods. Thousands of shoppers from the greater Milwaukee area look forward to this sale with anticipation of the treasures they might find on the North Shore. All unsold items will be given to the GAC Thrift Store for members to purchase throughout the year.
Hundreds of volunteer hours are dedicated to make this sale a highly organized success and provide a welcoming shopping experience for the entire family. Volunteers have been busy collecting the merchandise and organizing the departments.
The Grand Rummage Sale is Friday, May 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Held at the former North Shore Bistro located in the River Point Village at 8649 N Port Washington Rd, Fox Point, WI 53217.
