Maas Companies, Inc. to conduct auction of pilot manufacturing plant & carbon black equipment

A $25,000,000 pilot/manufacturing plant and supporting equipment will be sold at auction later this summer. Located in Boardman, Oregon, the assets are surplus to an on-going alternative energy provider. Maas Companies Inc, an auction company specializing in selling real estate, industrial plants, equipment and special assets is handling the sale. The auction is Wednesday, September 20 at 10 am. The auction will be held on-site at 71722 Columbia Boulevard, Boardman, Oregon.

Potential buyers are encouraged to inspect the property by private appointment or during the scheduled inspections on Wednesday, August 30th (10am-5pm) and Tuesday, September 9th (10am-5pm).

The 20,000 sq. ft. pilot/manufacturing building sits on 8 acres with a long-term lease with the Port of Morrow. Bidders can purchase the building to be moved or to remain in place with a lease modification. Originally built in 2008, with extensive upgrades in 2011 and 2014; buyers will have the opportunity to purchase equipment assets by bulk product line or piecemeal. Buyers may attend the auction in person or bid remotely.
