Elohi Strategic Advisors Names Marcus Adair New VP
MARION, Ill. (PRWEB) January 04, 2018 -- Elohi Strategic Advisors has added a new member to its ever-growing team. Food management expert and philanthropist Marcus Adair has been named Vice President of Chain and Commercial Accounts of Elohi Strategic Advisors, a firm focused on assisting emerging natural and sustainable foodservice brands.
“I am extremely excited to join Elohi because the company stands for everything I believe in,” says Adair. “I believe that no matter what race, creed or religion you are, everyone deserves to have a choice of sustainable health foods that not only taste good but are good for you.”
After studying at the University of Arkansas, Arkansas School of Business and U.S. Air Force Academy, Adair spent two years as a professional football player. He was sidelined due to injury and transitioned into his career of food and product management shortly after. Adair has held upper management roles at major food companies including Tyson Foods and Wayne Farms. Most recently, Adair served as a Senior Category Manager for Southeastern Grocers where he oversaw 19 categories and $700MM in revenue.
Outside of the office, Adair is a proud father and Atlanta resident. He serves as the President and Founder of The Marcus Adair Foundation. This nonprofit is focused on supporting organizations that assist the homeless population of Jacksonville, Florida.
“My favorite part of working in this field is that I love people,” says Adair. “Food creates a common bond that we can all rally behind. This is how my foundation got started. Helping and feeding the homeless will always be a focus of mine no matter where I am in life.”
