A Veteran of the United States Navy, Lois E. Lund is the Author of books for both children and adults. "Learning is Grand: Poems and Short Stories" is a children’s book of rhymes and short stories. Her book "Faith in Action" is filled with real-life stories from Ms. Lund’s experiences; she also weaves in tales from the Bible. “This a good read for ages18 to 65,” said Ms. Lund.
In "Mind, Pain, Feeling, Healing," Ms. Lund’s most recent book, she writes about her own struggles, her diagnosis as bipolar and her strong faith, which has helped her through arduous times. “It’s what you might call my autobiography,” she said. Ms. Lund wrote the book in an effort to help others who are dealing with difficult issues, particularly military Veterans.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Lund is now concentrating on marketing and selling her books. She is working with her daughter on a number of creative initiatives to spread the word about her books and to better reach her growing audience. “I’m still thinking about my future goals,” said Ms. Lund. “Writing has been so important. Now, I’m trying to be creative in my selling.”
