Team Fleisher Communications Honored with Multiple Diamond Awards
(PRWEB) January 10, 2018 -- Team Fleisher Communications is pleased to announce its selection by the East Central District (ECD) of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) as a recipient of four 2017 Diamond Awards. The annual awards announced late last month are prized by PR firms across the region and recognize excellence in public relations (PR) and marketing campaigns. They are given to programs that use exemplary skill, creativity and resourcefulness to successfully address communications challenges. The ECD District represents 17 PRSA chapters concentrated in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Western and Northwestern Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Kentucky.
Team Fleisher was recognized with a Diamond Award for a multifaceted campaign developed for Choice Recovery, a collection agency based in Columbus, Ohio. The campaign focused on Choice Recovery’s [re]start program, an initiative that offers those in debt an opportunity to find gainful employment. Team Fleisher built a campaign that raised awareness and enhanced Choice Recovery’s well-earned reputation and credibility by securing impactful earned media about [re]start and its impressive results.
Team Fleisher also received two Merit Awards for its work on behalf of its client, Eastway Behavioral Healthcare, and another for an effective campaign that highlighted the Batten Disease Support and Research Association’s (BDSRA) 2016 Annual Family Conference.
“We work with a diverse group of clients, each with their own unique needs and objectives,’” explained Marcy Fleisher, founder of Team Fleisher Communications. “Team Fleisher’s experienced group of professionals gives 100% each and every day to create comprehensive strategies that deliver the results our clients deserve. We are proud to be recognized for our efforts and grateful to the organizations that turn to us to fulfill their communication needs.”
As Eastway Behavioral Healthcare’s PR agency of record, Team Fleisher handled numerous initiatives in 2017, most notably, the non-profit organization’s expansion into the Columbus area, along with a celebration of its 60 years of service. Team Fleisher implemented extensive communication outreach strategies for both events. The campaign focused on Eastway’s expansion resulted in numerous, impactful earned media placements. For Eastway’s 60th anniversary, an evening gala was planned. Guests at the party received “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow,” a 32-page book that Team Fleisher created, capturing the expanse of Eastway’s remarkable journey.
BDSRA was founded 29 years ago to support families coping with Batten disease, an extremely rare and fatal autosomal recessive neurodegenerative disorder that begins in childhood. BDSRA needed to raise its profile, educate, build awareness and lay the groundwork for potential financial support. Team Fleisher recognized that BDSRA’s 2016 Annual Family Conference, scheduled for mid-July in St. Louis, Missouri, presented the opportunity the organization was looking for. In just six weeks, Team Fleisher’s media outreach led to more than 20 earned media placements regarding BDSRA and its conference.
The four awards will be presented to Team Fleisher and other award recipients at a future Central Ohio Chapter event.
