New Year Brings New Doctor To San Antonio Eye Specialists
SAN ANTONIO (PRWEB) January 11, 2018 -- Dr. Jorge A. De La Chapa, DO, has joined veteran eye surgeon and medical director and founder of San Antonio Eye Specialists, Dr. Nader Iskander, at his practice. De La Chapa’s accomplished background and enthusiastic approach have been warmly welcomed by patients and staff alike.
While new to the practice, Dr. De La Chapa is not new to ophthalmology. De La Chapa has worked with patients in the San Antonio area for over a decade. He specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, eyelid surgery, LASIK, and diabetic eye diseases. Both of his parents are ophthalmologists, giving him a unique personal approach. It allowed him to learn about the eye from a young age, which fostered a love and a desire in him to be a doctor who could help patients see better and have clearer vision for life.

De La Chapa is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He attended undergraduate and graduate school at The University of Texas at El Paso and completed medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation, Dr. De La Chapa completed a one-year rotating internship at Columbia Tulsa Regional Medical Center, where he also completed his ophthalmology residency. He is also a devoted family man who spends all of his free time being a daddy to his eight children and supporting his family in all of their endeavors.
