IMEC Announces Four Recipients Of The 2017 ILPEx Recognition Program Awards For Excellence
PEORIA, Ill. (PRWEB) January 11, 2018 -- IMEC has announced four organizations as recipients of the ILPEx Recognition Program’s 2017 Awards for Excellence. The high performing organizations were evaluated against the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence by the ILPEx Board of Examiners as part of the annual application process. Application scores and award determinations are made by the ILPEx Panel of Judges. The recipient organizations will be formally honored at the annual award ceremony and recognition dinner on February 22, 2018, at the Hyatt Lodge at Hamburger University located in Oak Brook, IL.
“This is a tremendous year for our award recipients as it marks only the fourth time in the history of our organization where we have named two Gold Award recipients. It is truly a distinguished honor for them and for ILPEx,” said Ben Krupowicz, Executive Director of the ILPEx Recognition Program. “The recipients exemplify an incredible dedication to the ongoing journey of performance improvement and the achievement of excellence. The ILPEx Awards for Excellence recognize the recipient’s organization-wide dedication to performance improvement that meets three levels of performance criteria:
The ILPEx Gold Award for Achievement of Excellence is granted to those organizations who demonstrate effective, systematic, well-deployed approaches that respond to the multiple requirements of most Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence criteria items and are integrated to meet organizational needs. Gold award recipients serve as a true role model for organizations on the Baldrige journey. The 2017 Gold Award recipients are:
Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) – Oak Brook
Headquartered in Oak Brook, IMRF is the 47th largest retirement plan in the United States and the best-funded statewide public pension plan in the Land of Lincoln. For 77 years, IMRF has partnered with local units of government to provide benefits for public employees. Today, those benefits include retirement, disability, and death/survivor payments.
Integrated Project Management Company, Inc. (IPM) – Burr Ridge
Integrated Project Management Company, Inc. (IPM) is a privately held business consulting firm focused on planning and implementing strategically critical initiatives in the life sciences, healthcare, consumer products, and industrial sectors. Since its inception in 1988, IPM has served more than 350 clients and completed nearly 4,000 projects.
The ILPEx Silver Award for Progress toward Excellence is granted to those organizations who demonstrate effective, systematic, well-deployed approaches that respond to the overall requirements of most Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence criteria items and are aligned with organizational needs. The 2017 Silver Award recipient is:
HSHS St. Francis Hospital – Litchfield
HSHS St. Francis Hospital offers a full range of health care services including an advanced surgery center; cancer care center; imaging for diagnostic purposes; and physical, cardiac, and pulmonary rehabilitation. In addition, St. Francis is the only hospital in the two county area providing maternity services. The hospital is a member of Hospital Sisters Health System and is located halfway between St. Louis, Missouri and Springfield, Illinois.
The ILPEx Bronze Award for Commitment to Excellence is granted to those organizations that demonstrate systematic approaches that respond to the basic requirements of the Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence criteria and improve key work processes. The 2017 Bronze Award recipient is:
Saint Anthony Hospital - Chicago
Saint Anthony Hospital is an independent, nonprofit, faith-based, acute care, community hospital dedicated to improving the health and wellness of families on Chicago’s west and southwest sides. For over a century, Saint Anthony Hospital has served more than 400,000 neighboring residents. Saint Anthony Hospital, its affiliated clinics and community wellness centers provide quality health services, as well as a wide variety of free bilingual community health education and outreach programs.
The 2017 ILPEx Board of Examiners – comprised of 41 experts in business, education, health care and government – volunteered over 9,000 hours assessing each applicant in seven categories: leadership; strategy; customer engagement; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; workforce; operations; and results. The ILPEx Panel of Judges is responsible for validating the integrity of the ILPEx Awards for Excellence recognition cycle and determining recognition levels for each applicant. The panel is composed of experts selected from all industry sectors and geographic regions across the state of Illinois.
