Author Edmond Hauser’s Newly Released “Seeds Blowing on the Breeze” Is An Ensemble Of Intellectually Nourishing Ideas And Images To Promote The Notion Of Selfhood
(PRWEB) January 17, 2018 -- “Seeds Blowing on the Breeze”: an ensemble of ideas and images intended to nourish the reader’s imagination. “Seeds Blowing on the Breeze” is the creation of published author, Edmond Hauser. Born and reared on a small Midwestern dairy farm, Edmond R. Hauser sought knowledge, personal freedom, and independence early in life. Blessed with an insatiable curiosity and love for ideas, he spent much of his adult life traveling widely and studying broadly. Following a four-year stint in the United Stated Air Force, he settled in Montana where he taught at a liberal arts college in the field of clinical psychological counseling. He also devoted a great deal of time to seminars and writing.
“Essentially there are two principles by which one may organize one’s self-concept. The first may be identified as the performance-role model of selfhood. According to this model, the value of an individual emerges with one’s ability to take some useful initiative or to perform some useful activity according to society’s value system. Currently, it appears that many Americans organize their selfhood by this model.” --Edmond Hauser
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Edmond Hauser’s new book inspires readers to contemplate simple and complex concepts found in everyday life.
“Seeds Blowing on the Breeze” is a compilation of various written works. Two thought essays explore the concepts of “selfhood” and “individual longevity.” Two descriptive narratives, which were derived from the author’s own personal experiences, invite the reader to shift attention from seeing to noticing. Four poems cover topics from the writer’s sentiments on rural life to a study in irony. A final section deals with personal identity, which invites the reader to explore the topic more fully and to participate in its development more deeply. The ensemble concludes with a cluster of foundation ideas.
