Centria Healthcare to Provide Autism Services in Eight New Jersey Counties
TRENTON, NJ (PRWEB) January 23, 2018 -- Centria Healthcare, the nation’s largest provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism, today announced its expansion of autism services into eight new counties in New Jersey: Camden, Gloucester, Burlington, Ocean, Monmouth, and parts of Mercer, Middlesex, and Atlantic. Expanding services in New Jersey will allow Centria Healthcare to help families find the resources they need to help their children succeed in the world on their own terms.

New Jersey has the highest rate of autism in the country, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As the prevalence rate of autism increases, so too has the need for ABA therapy, the only evidence-based therapy approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC. During ABA therapy, skills are broken down into small, easy-to-learn steps. Positive reinforcement is used to motivate the child, and data is continuously collected to measure the child’s progress and modify their personalized treatment plan.
