Baci Perugina Brightens Up New York with ‘Kissing Away the Blues’ Initiative

To spread some love and cheer up New Yorkers today, Baci Perugina representatives will be in Manhattan – in Herald Square, Flatiron Square and Eataly Downtown – handing out Baci chocolates to everyone who takes a moment to write a positive message on large, Kissing Away the Blues message boards. In return, they will receive a nice handwritten message left by someone else and a delicious Baci (meaning kiss in Italian) chocolate. Much like Baci’s signature “love notes”, or charming messages embracing each truffle – which have spread emotion to people across the globe through the words of authors, poets, philosophers and contemporary artists since the 1930s – the thoughtful messages people leave are meant to bring joy to those who receive them.
Kissing Away the Blues also encourages New Yorkers to spark positivity on social media by sharing uplifting messages including the hashtag, #BaciMonday. Everyone who shares content via Facebook or Instagram and on the message boards throughout the city will be entered for a chance to win several prizes, such as a special Baci chocolate-making class and other sweet Baci surprises.
