DAVOS, Switzerland (PRWEB) January 23, 2018 -- Cyber Future Foundation, a global non profit cybersecurity think-do tank today announced in conjunction with the Security Innovation Network (SINET), that they are organizing the first ever executive cybersecurity leadership dialogue in the backdrop of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. The inaugural Cyber Future Dialogue will be held January 24th 2018 at the Schatzalp Hotel in Davos, Switzerland. The inaugural Dialogue will bring several prominent cybersecurity leaders from around the world to discuss the most significant challenges and the many enabling potentials of cyber.
“Citizens, Businesses and Nations around the world are grappling with consequences of cyber challenges,” said Val Mukherjee, Founder & Chairman of Cyber Future Foundation. “It is essential for the leaders to come together to deliberate on the fundamental aspects of cyber risk and address this collectively. Cybersecurity has naturally evolved as a key Board topic and now demands executive decision and action. This can only be achieved through collaboration and informed decision making at the highest levels where the captains of the industry, national leaders and the cyber chiefs work together to take these informed decisions and put them into action as any other executive business measure.”
Val further mentioned that, “CFF and the Delegates to the Cyber Future Dialogue are particularly glad to be supported by SINET, the pre-eminent Cybersecurity public private partnership community led by Robert Rodriguez, Chairman & Founder of SINET, who is acting as a co-convener of the inaugural Cyber Future Dialogue.” He said, “This is only the beginning of a thoughtful and action oriented journey that will gain global momentum towards addressing the most critical cyber issues.”
The Cyber Future Dialogue is designed as an executive roundtable of select global leaders to serve as a pioneer group to put together a call to action on all things that relate to the executive decision and action on cyber.
The mission of this particular inaugural event and the subsequent Global Cyber Future Dialogue Series is to develop a set of guiding principles and rules of engagement on which global geo political leadership, economic experts and business executives can follow to address the challenges and harness the potentials of cyber. The Dialogue considers the challenge that the World Economic Forum cites as cybersecurity threats outpacing abilities of government and companies; this according to CFF needs to address the basic tenets of CyberSecurity, CyberPeace and CyberEducation. This is the beginning of a series of subsequent dialogue, deliberation and action.
The inaugural Cyber Future Dialogue is going to be attended by the pioneering cyber leadership who would anchor the discussions. Risto Siilasmaa, Chair of the Board of Directors of Nokia will be providing the Executive Vision Statement as a Keynote Address to motivate the group to deliver actionable guidance and recommendation.
The event will be chaired by Val Mukherjee, Founder & Chairman of Cyber Future Foundation, and Co-chaired by Robert Rodriguez, Founder & Chairman of SINET.
