TRC Rod Services of Oklahoma, Inc. today announced that Jeremy Don Queen, former Technical Specialist for sucker rods at Weatherford International Plc., has joined TRC Rod Services of Oklahoma as Director of Sucker Rod Technology.
"It is with great pleasure that we welcome Jeremy to our management team," said Don Heck, President, TRC Rod Services of Oklahoma, Inc. "We could not be more thrilled and honored to have Jeremy become part of the TRC team and lead our new Sucker Rod Technology Center. Construction for this new center is scheduled to begin the first quarter of 2018. Mr. Queen's extensive experience in identifying and solving sucker rod related problems will bring an important new perspective and dimension to our business. His background in the industry will benefit our strategic efforts as we navigate building the new Technology Center and directing the efforts of the Center in this challenging time."
Mr. Queen's employment is effective January 15, 2018. He has been working in the Permian Basin and is glad to be coming back home to Oklahoma City. Mr. Queen graduated from The University of Oklahoma and received a mechanical engineering degree.
About TRC Sucker Rod Technology Center
With construction slated to begin late in the first quarter of 2018, the Sucker Rod Technology Center is designed to support TRC's mission of providing innovative solutions to sucker rod problems for oil and gas producers. The facility will have a laboratory dedicated to sucker rod failure analysis as well as ongoing research and development, a training room and offices for technical personnel.
