Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Joseph Rucker Introducing New Laser Technology to Wisconsin Practice
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (PRWEB) January 31, 2018 -- Dr. Rucker is excited to provide his patients with the latest technology in laser light therapy with the Halo™ and diVa® lasers. Halo™, the original hybrid fractional laser, can be adjusted to provide ablative results of facial skin coupled with non-ablative healing times. Following its development, diVa® was borne into the same technology, but with the aim at treating the sensitive internal skin of the vagina, providing near-surgical vaginal rejuvenation results.
Through two separate laser emissions, Sciton’s Halo™ and diVa® lasers are able to produce changes in both the superficial and deeper layers of skin. This combined technology is akin to undergoing two different types of laser treatments – ablative and non-ablative – over a series of visits, which would require longer healing times. By adjusting each light setting, a patient can undergo an entirely tailored treatment for specific aesthetic, and in the case of the diVa® laser, functional needs.
The Halo™ laser skin procedure is performed by creating targeted damage to the skin that leads to a more controlled remodeling of its important cellular structures. The activation of the skin’s building blocks – collagen and elastin – creates a rejuvenated appearance of the skin from the inside out. One or two treatments with the Halo™ provide results that were previously possible through 6 months of regular laser sessions. Existing signs of aging, pore size, and scarring will be significantly reduced through this refinishing procedure.
The diVa® laser treatment was developed for women who notice skin laxity, a change in the comfort of their vaginal wall, and urinary incontinence due to childbirth and menopause. Dr. Rucker’s patients can undergo the quick and painless procedure during a series of three office visits for improved vaginal appearance and health. The diVa® helps to restore the vagina without the need for invasive surgery.
Both the Halo™ and diVa® laser treatments should be performed once annually to maintain results and area skin health. These follow-up visits can prolong or even eliminate the need for surgery.
