Our lineup of seminar instructors this year is truly world class and all attendees, both onsite and online, can expect to receive a level of education rarely found outside a formal classroom
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) February 06, 2018
“The Portrait Masters,” the premier online photo education destination established by Sue Bryce and Digital Product Studio, is announcing that registration is now open for its second annual Conference + Expo to be held at the Arizona Grand in Phoenix, Arizona from September 4-7, 2018. The conference will include three-plus days of photographic instruction by many of the world’s most renowned educators including Sue Bryce, Joyce Tenneson, Richard Wood, Felix Kunze, Lola Melani, and more. In addition to the lineup of seminars, renowned portrait photographer, Platon, will present the conference keynote this year. His portraits of U.S. Presidents and other world leaders have received international acclaim and recognition.
In conjunction with the conference will be the Expo, consisting of more than 75 manufacturers of photographic hardware, software, and accessories who will demonstrate the latest in imaging technology. Portions of The Portrait Masters Conference will also stream live on Digital Product Studio’s Internet platform at ThePortraitMasters.com. Registration fee to attend the conference is $1,800.
“Last year’s conference was a great success and I’m honored and excited to announce our second annual event in beautiful Phoenix this September,” said Sue Bryce, co-founder and host of The Portrait Masters Conference and Expo. “Our lineup of seminar instructors this year is truly world class and all attendees, both onsite and online, can expect to receive a level of education rarely found outside a formal classroom.”
Seminars will cover a variety of creative, technical, and business topics including lighting, posing, retouching, marketing, and sales, to name just a few. Onsite and online participants will receive some of the most intense professional training, which can be applied to their creative styles and business environments immediately following the conference.
“We received a lot of positive feedback from last year’s conference and plan to incorporate a number of additional activities based on some of that feedback,” explains George Varanakis, co-founder of Digital Product Studio, which specializes in creating digital educational products through online communities and membership sites. “Along with our extensive lineup of seminars, we are working very hard to make the experience for our online guests around the world more interactive and rewarding.”
The conference begins with a welcome reception and keynote presentation by Sue Bryce, followed by three full days of intense learning and networking. A variety of “open shoots” will allow conference attendees to put what they’ve learned into immediate practice. In addition, more than 75 manufacturers will be on hand to display and demonstrate the latest in imaging technology and software during the conference expo. Expo hours will not overlap with any seminars or keynotes so attendees will have the ability to participate in every aspect of the conference without conflict.
“The Portrait Masters” Launches Online Education Platform
“The Portrait Masters” is also announcing it is launching a new online education platform dedicated to portrait photographers who want to hone their creative, post-production and business skills throughout the year. The online series of seminars will be presented by instructors participating in The Portrait Masters conference. Each series will cover a variety of topics including lighting, posing, retouching, marketing, sales, and business. To provide viewers with a complete and comprehensive breakdown of the topic discussed, each series will consist of several “classes” for in-depth learning.
“The Portrait Masters online education platform will provide an amazing learning experience for photographers looking for 24/7/365 on-demand tutorials along with live presentations from the world’s most respected educators in the field of photography,” said Craig Swanson, co-founder of Digital Product Studio, whose platform will host the new EDU site. "Quality online education with the ability to engage with instructors anywhere in the world is increasing in demand and we believe Digital Product Studio offers a complete solution for The Portrait Masters and its viewers.”
The new online EDU site made its debut in late 2017 with “The Lighting Series,” presented by Felix Kunze and Sue Bryce. A new series from renowned retoucher and educator, Pratik Naik, has been added to The Portrait Masters online education curriculum today, with additional courses to be added regularly over the coming months.
