Maronda Homes and New Home Star Expand Powerhouse Partnership

The fifth expansion will further strengthen the long-term partnership by leveraging New Home Star’s sales and marketing expertise to all of Maronda’s divisions in Florida.

On February 1, 2018, Maronda Homes joined forces with New Home Star to provide a superior sales experience for homebuyers in the Orlando market. The sales and operations partnership between the two firms was built upon four consecutive expansions that resulted in record-breaking sales growth. The fifth will further strengthen the long-term partnership by leveraging New Home Star’s sales and marketing expertise to all of Maronda’s divisions in Florida.

Teaming up just three years ago, the parties determined that New Home Star would begin by directing their efforts to the perennially low volume market of Melbourne, FL. Within the first 12 months in operation, the Melbourne Division experienced a 65% year-over-year increase in homes sold, significantly outperforming the rest of the local market at large. In 2017, the Melbourne Division finished with 413 net sales, up from 150 when the partnership first began and is projected for strong growth in 2018 under the new leadership of Sales Director, Lesleigh Tobis.

“New Home Star’s performance in the Melbourne market opened up new opportunities in Jacksonville and Tampa,” says New Home Star VP of Sales for Florida, Nate Amidon. “Seeing such incremental success in each division we’ve entered, we are incredibly excited to now join all of Maronda’s sales divisions in the Sunshine State under a singular strategy.”

Led by New Home Star Sales Leaders, Nate Hamilton and Jennifer Fincham, the team will be equipped with two seasoned industry experts coming with multi-market experience spanning several price points. “It’s truly humbling to enter into a new market already partnered with an outstanding team.
