Theresa Trivette is Named Chief Nursing Officer for Florida Hospital Tampa
TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) February 19, 2018 -- Theresa Trivette has been named Chief Nursing Officer for Florida Hospital Tampa.
Trivette brings executive nursing leadership, quality care management and more than 28 years of healthcare experience to her new role.
Florida Hospital Tampa has named Theresa Trivette, DNP, RN, CSSBB, as the Chief Nursing Officer. A registered nurse with over 28 years healthcare experience, Trivette has a solid track record of improving quality of care and patient experience within several multi-campus healthcare systems. In her new role, she will be responsible for providing leadership and administration of direct patient care activities, nursing professional development, and promoting best practices that ensure quality, safety and service standards are met at Florida Hospital Tampa.

Prior to her leadership roles at Florida Hospital Tampa, Trivette served in a variety of progressive leadership roles that include Associate Vice President of Quality, Evidence-Based Care and Health Information Management at Tidelands Health in South Carolina. She also held the position as the Director of Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement at Wake Forest Baptist Health in North Carolina. Her clinical experience includes over 13 years in emergency and trauma services in large teaching hospitals including Georgetown University Hospital and Wake Forest Baptist Health.

Trivette received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina where she graduated with top honors. She earned an Associate’s degree in Nursing from the College of Southern Maryland, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management and Project Management from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration from Gardner-Webb University.
She currently serves on the board of examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the nation’s highest recognition awarded to organizations for performance excellence. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and American Organization of Nurse Executives.
