Webster-Calhoun Cooperative Telephone Association (WCCTA) Announces Annual Meeting For Members Is Tuesday, March 20th At 7:00 PM At The Southeast Valley High School
GOWRIE, Iowa (PRWEB) March 13, 2018 -- The theme of this year's Annual Meeting is "Hooked On Technology". Members Hooked On Technology do not want to settle for crappie service. Attendees will learn more about why WCCTA is reely excited to be acknowledged as a Gigabit Capable Provider and SMART Rural Community from NTCA: The Rural Broadband Association.
WCCTA provides a Fiber to the Home network that covers every section of the 16 communities that it serves. Within this Fiber network, customers are provided landline telephone, Internet and digital television. Additionally, WCCTA is a GIG Capable Rural Service Provider.
The Annual Meeting will announce the results of the Election of the Board of Directors. Ballots have been sent out to all members for election to the Board of Directors for the directors whose terms expire.
Candidates are selected by the 2018 nominating committee. Members are to separate the ballot from the list of candidates and mark the box to the one (1) name they are voting for. The marked ballot is to be delivered to 1106 Beek Street in Gowrie, IA or placed in the provided postage paid pink envelope so it is received prior to 12:00 pm on March 20, 2018.
Additional items to be presented to the members during the meeting include updates on services as well as the year in review and goals for the future.
The evening will also include refreshments and doughnuts. Door prizes winners will be drawn from members present at the annual meeting. This year the door prizes are centered around the "Hooked On Technology" theme in addition to the grand prize of a Samsung 55" UltraHD 4K SMART TV.
