Venture Atlanta Recognizes ThingTech as One of Atlanta’s Top Companies to Watch in 2018
ATLANTA (PRWEB) March 01, 2018 -- Venture Atlanta recently announced that it had selected ThingTech as one of Atlanta’s Top Companies to Watch in 2018. Only one Internet of Things (IoT) services provider was spotlighted on its list. According to Venture Atlanta, ThingTech stands out because of its track record helping customers gain instant connectivity to and real-time visibility into people, devices and assets. “[ThingTech] customers have documented hundreds of thousands of dollars in cost savings and new revenues resulting in a profound effect on the top and bottom lines of their organizations,” says Venture Atlanta.
“Our focus is simple: deliver an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform-as-a-service for asset-intensive organizations,” said Tim Quinn, CEO and Co-founder of ThingTech. “ThingTech customers own and operate high-value assets—vehicles, heavy equipment, facilities, infrastructure, mobile work force. They desperately want to connect to these expensive “things” in real-time to convert operational data into actionable and predictive data. And that’s why we’ve invested in building a first class IIoT platform.”
Prior to this announcement, ThingTech was one of 35 startups selected to present at the 10th annual 2017 Venture Atlanta conference. ThingTech was also named as one of Venture Atlanta’s “5 Startups to Watch in 2017”.
