URPA 2018 Outdoor Music Educational Sessions Presented by LuckyDog Recreation and PlayCore
PROVO, Utah (PRWEB) March 02, 2018 -- LuckyDog Recreation and PlayCore present “Natural Harmony: A guide to Blending Outdoor Music and Community” at the Utah Recreation and Parks Association 2018 conference (URPA) on March 13 from 10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The educational session, hosted by Kate Morrison, sales and business development manager with Freenotes Harmony Park, a PlayCore company, will explore how a permanent installation of outdoor musical instruments can change accessibility to all individuals.
Music engages the senses, ignites creativity and imagination, and spurs interactions between users. Outdoor music environments uniquely bring together diverse user groups to spontaneously interact, socialize, collaborate, create, and learn from each other.
Thoughtfully planned and well-executed outdoor music environments benefit the whole community. At the session, participants will learn how musical instruments in a group setting create meaningful ensembles and will learn to design musical settings for their own communities.
After the session, participants may visit the Lucky Dog Recreation booth (101) to explore and play new musical flowers from Freenotes Harmony Park as well as enter to win a flower (valued at $500) for their community park or recreation center.
Kate Morrison is the sales and business development manager with Freenotes Harmony Park, a PlayCore company. Freenotes is the industry leader in outdoor musical instruments, invented by Grammy Award-Winning musician Richard Cooke, more than 20 years ago. LuckyDog Recreation is a distributor of Freenotes Harmony Park equipment for the state of Utah.
