(PRWEB) March 13, 2018 -- Spartan Mosquito has just set off on their first world tour, beginning on the island of Puerto Rico. Representatives of the company are exploring options for global manufacturing and distribution, and will spend some time helping special areas in need as they travel.
When Hurricane Maria ravaged Puerto Rico last year, Spartan Mosquito’s desire was to offer assistance, as they did for Texas and Florida in the aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, but they found themselves logistically unable. As one of the fastest growing companies in the US today (~22,000% growth in 2017), Spartan is now in a position to help the people of Puerto Rico.
Jeremy Hirsch, President of Spartan Mosquito, traveled to Puerto Rico earlier this week to begin the process of considering the island for the company’s first manufacturing facility outside of the continental US.
The attractiveness of Puerto Rico as a manufacturing site for Spartan arose not only in reflection on last year’s tragedy, but also in watching the strength and character of the people of Puerto Rico as they worked to rebuild and recover, largely on their own.
Hirsch reflects, “We might not have been able to get Eradicators to the people last September, so our goal now is to help in hurricane recovery by spurring the economy with the development of a new manufacturing facility.”
While in Puerto Rico, Spartan Mosquito particularly enjoyed touring parts of the beautiful island. “We’ll be back,” Hirsch said, “without a doubt, we’ll be back to Puerto Rico.”
Spartan Mosquito, manufacturer of the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator, is located in Laurel, Mississippi. Spartan Mosquito Eradicators are an effective and long-lasting means of mosquito control -- a unique solution activated by simply adding warm water, shaking, and hanging in a shady spot outside that will provide up to 90 days of protection.
