The American Association of Private Lenders (AAPL) is offering the Certified Fund Manager (CFM) designation class May 9, 2018, at the Geraci Activate Conference, located at the Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. AAPL members are eligible for the CFM designation and may register for the class at http://www.aaplonline.com or http://www.geracicon.com/activate. The CFM designation class requires a separate registration from the Geraci Activate Conference.
CFM designation bridges industry practices, investment theory, ethical and professional standards to provide investment analysis and portfolio management skills. The intensive four-stage course, taught by Kevin Kim from Geraci Law Firm, will prepare members to answer the increasingly common client question, “Is a mortgage fund my next growth opportunity?”
Topics of the CFM designation class at the Geraci Activate Conference include: mortgage pool fundamentals, vision and execution, how to structure, capitalize and administer a mortgage pool fund, creation and launching of the fund and on-going fund administration.

This is only the third time the CFM designation is being offered outside the AAPL Annual Conference.
