Greenberg Traurig’s Patrick J. McCarthy Named Among DCA Live’s 2018 Rising Stars of Law 40 Under 40

McCarthy, shareholder in the Washington, D.C. office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been named to DCA Live’s 2018 Rising Stars of Law. Each of the honorees will be recognized at a special reception Tuesday, April 10, in Washington, D.C.
Nominated by leaders in the Washington legal community, DCA Live’s Rising Stars of Law recognition is awarded to 40 attorneys under age 40, who have demonstrated exceptional performance and made significant contributions to grow and innovate within their company. McCarthy is a first chair patent litigator with particular experience in litigating patent litigation matters at the International Trade Commission. He assists his clients in litigating within many jurisdictions and across a broad range of complex technologies. He has also delivered oral arguments before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and is barred at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
McCarthy is an active member in the local community. He is a trustee and engages in pro bono projects for the Washington Lawyers’ Committee, an organization that provides pro bono legal services to address discrimination and entrenched poverty in the Washington, D.C. area.
