Nike Tennis Camps Announces 2018 Dates at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina

Returning for its 12th summer, the Nike Tennis Camp at Furman University is set to host three weeks of day and overnight camp programs in June and July of 2018 for boys and girls ages 9-18.

Designed for all skill levels, this camp is structured to provide each player with the tools necessary to improve their game. Entering his sixth season as Furman head men’s tennis coach and director at the Nike Tennis Camps, Kelly Jones holds a great deal of experience and a unique philosophy that he shares with his campers every summer.

“We are more than happy to return to such a renowned college like Furman University,” says Wendy Shpiz, Vice President of Nike Tennis Camps. “This program provides access to some of the finest facilities in South Carolina. Under Coach Jones, we are confident our young players receive the best instruction in the area.”

During his time at Furman University, Kelly Jones led the Paladins to consecutive championship matches in the Southern Conference tournament. In 2014, the men’s tennis program posted an overall record of 16-9 and, midseason, defeated #68 Iowa 4-3.

Nike Tennis Camps at Furman University offers three week-long sessions (Su-Th) on 19 outdoor and 4 indoor courts. Daily instruction covers all aspects of the game, skill challenges, match play, and fun off-court evening activities for overnight campers.
