SeaBreeze Electric, Inc, a Florida-based company that specializes in electric, air conditioning, security and alarm systems, and home automation, celebrates 20 years of providing excellent services for residential and commercial customers.

Founded in 1996, the company started as a small family operation and has grown into one of the largest residential electrical and HVAC contractors in Florida with over 250 employees. SeaBreeze has wired over 30,000 homes in Southwest, Central, and Southeast Florida and has rapidly expanded, with new headquarters in Port Charlotte and bases of operation in Fort Meyers, Tampa, Orlando, and Vero Beach.

Inc. magazine, a leading business periodical that focuses on small businesses and entrepreneurs, announced SeaBreeze Electric Inc made its Inc. 5000 list for 2017, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic small business segment.

“This is a big milestone for the Company coming after 20 years in the business. It took a lot of hard work, perseverance and most importantly, teamwork to get here,” said Sean Jenkinson, President of SeaBreeze Electric, Inc.

SeaBreeze recognition doesn’t end there. Engineering News-Record (ENR), the leading engineering and construction magazine, featured SeaBreeze Electric in the Top 600 Specialty Contractors in the US in 2017. In addition, SeaBreeze ranked in the 2017 Gulf Coast Top 500 companies, based on the revenue of companies in nine counties in Florida. Since 2010, SeaBreeze has grown from about 50 employees and about $7 million in revenue to more than 250 employees and approximately $40 million in revenue.

The company has aligned itself with Home Builder’s for the long-term, which is reflected in the fact that they have been the electrical contractor of choice for many regional and national home builders, such as DR Horton, David Weekley, GHO Homes, Lennar Corporation, Mattamy Homes, PulteGroup, Taylor Morrison, Toll Brothers and others for more than 20 years. SeaBreeze’s formula to success has always been its commitment to honesty, reliability and a “Customer First” philosophy.

SeaBreeze is also extending its offering into its installed home owner customer base, servicing over 10,000 new home owners a year. The company’s unique selling point is its one-stop approach, by providing electrical upgrades, surge protection, backup power generators, HVAC repair and replacement, Security and Alarm systems and Home Automation - Smart Home solutions (Get SMART & Get SAFE packages). Another differentiator is the fact that the company wired or cooled that home owner’s house in the first place, and has left their contact information for any future new service or repair needs.

In addition to the SeaBreeze commitment to honesty, reliability, and putting customers first, one of the company’s core values is education. In 2017, SeaBreeze University was launched to increase industry knowledge and the workmanship that is delivered by its electricians to the company’s customers. Currently, there are several different courses offered to helpers, installers, supervisors and managers covering topics ranging from basic to advanced electrical wiring to onsite technical training. As SeaBreeze has grown in size, the company continues to make significant investments in training, safety, employee benefits and management systems.

“At the end of the day, our most valuable asset is our people. Our goal is not only to be the electrical contractor of choice for our customers, but be the one of the best companies to work for our employees,” said Sean Jenkinson.

Due to massive population growth in Florida, retiring baby boomers, and a new wave of millennials looking to buy homes, the company sees a “very bright and long-term future for SeaBreeze and the industry”. SeaBreeze provides from its bases in Port Charlotte, Fort Meyers, Tampa, Orlando, and Vero Beach.
