ORLANDO, Fla. (PRWEB) April 05, 2018
Dr. Marc Ott and Dr. Bret Scheuplein of Integrative Physical Medicine are pleased to announce their first charity golf tournament to benefit United Against Poverty of Orlando on April 6th at the Shingle Creek Golf Club.
United Against Poverty, also known as UP of Orlando is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those living in poverty through crisis care, case management, transformative education, food and household subsidies, as well as employment training and placement. It is their belief that with a little help, poverty can be temporary and that often people just need a boost to lift themselves up out of a difficult situation and get their life on track.
Last year, Dr. Marc Ott and Dr. Bret Scheuplein wanted to give something back to the community that had been so good to them, and after seeing the wonderful work that United Against Poverty was doing for the community, they knew that UP was just the right place to do it. They committed to a $240,000 donation and the employees at IPM began donating their time to the cause as well. IPM is continuing their dedication to help UP and their programs by sponsoring a golf tournament.
Come join IPM and UP for a fun day of golf at beautiful Shingle’s Creek Golf Club on their newly-redesigned, championship course. Registration begins at 11 am and the shotgun start is at 1 pm sharp. For the $150 per person donation you’ll enjoy golf, a cart, range balls, a tee gift, a box lunch, beverages, contests and prizes galore, and a dinner buffet and reception with a silent auction will take place after the tournament. If golf isn’t for you, you can still come and enjoy the delicious dinner buffet and reception for $50 per person. To register and pay online or to sponsor a hole or contest, go togolfinvite.com/ipm. Come tee up for a good cause with us!
